What regions offer the best incentives for Volvos

Is it feasible to lease a Volvo in a distant state and have it shipped?

Given that Volvo (unlike most carmakers?) gives incentives based on dealer location, I was wondering if it’s generally known what states/regions I should be looking at to get the best deal.

Last I heard the difference between northeast and southeast was only $500 so shipping can easily wipe out the savings.

From PA your best bets are probably VA, NC, SC etc.

Or buy locally if the only difference is the $500 extra lease cash.

It changes every month and can vary by model and trim.

:point_up_2:t2:

Last month a friend leased an S90 and the difference between cars in his region and where he got his: on B6 it was +$2k and T8 was +$1500

It pays to check but nobody has (is sharing) the monthly OEM program guide with the regions and incentives breakout by model, but it’s all in Rate Finder if you look. And: if you don’t have a car at a dealer in a region with better incentives that will play ball, what do you have?

Does anyone want to share their list of zip codes to check Volvo incentives across regions? :eyes::mag_right:

Wouldn’t the Edmunds forums have this info also? Or I’m assuming they would since that’s the precursor to how Leasehackr worked back in the day.

Yes you just have to ask for the RV, MF, and incentives in whatever zip code for the term/miles/model/trim. Since Volvo incentives follow the dealer, you need to check anywhere you might get the car.

Good luck getting them to give you incentive numbers for the same vehicle across multiple zips. They usually wont do more than a trim level or two per person.

This, and also lack visibility in some of the customer facing rebates (affinity, Costco, etc)

You can check the incentives on Volvo’s website by typing in zip codes from the different regions. For example, Southeast I usually use a zip code from the DC area. It doesn’t take that long given the limited number of regions.

4 regions (FL has extra sometimes), so you need 5 zip codes. Example: NY, GA, FL, KS, CA.
