Hindi + Punjabi and full understanding of Urdu and about 25% able to speak it

That’s 1 language- ya big dummy - diff dialect- similar to southern and northerner drawls
Punjabi has its own alphabet and in written form is called Gurmuki. Hindi has a different alphabet and in written form is called Sanskrit. Urdu also has its own alphabet. So no, they are not all 1 language

If you can do Hindi, you can do Urdu and vice versa.

not true. It’s like stating that all spanish is the same from mexico, south america, spain. there is overlap but not the same.

That’s not what I was saying. I am saying, if you can speak Spanish, then you will claim “I can speak Spanish”. You would not claim “I speak Spanish from South America” or that “I speak Spanish from Spain”.
Similarly, if you can speak Hindi, you can speak Urdu.

You can’t just know one and speak all. Pronunciations are quite different.

Spanish from Spain, Mexico, South America is called Spanish. Its like claiming Portugese and Spanish is the same language. It has a different name for a reason. I 100% guarantee you, if you speak to a person that speaks proper Punjabi, you will only pick up bits and pieces of words that overlap but besides that you would be left clueless. Punjabi from Punjab is different than Punjabi from Jammu and Kashmir.
If you speak Hindi and Urdu, you may understand pharases or words but a full blown conversation with a true native speaker, good luck. My best friend is Pakistani and while I can understand his parents normally, his grandmother speaks 100% Urdu and not the current hybrid version you may be referring to. I promise you, not as clear to understand.
You may claim that I am spilitting hairs but these distinctions are important and they exist for a reason.
