What is currently the best luxury EV deal in California?

Good Morning!

Looking to lease a new luxury sedan/SUV. It seems there are some crazy deals on EVs so I guess I will stick with EV. What are currently (August 2024) best deals in SoCal for this category? EQE, EQS, Audi E Tron Q8 or anything else? Thank you!

EQS, E-tron, and iX is what I would aim for.

Agree with the first two but the iX seem to be pretty expensive compared to those?

Yes. A little more expensive but do test drive them and see which one you like better.

If you are trying to get the cheapest one, EQS through brokers would be the cheapest option.

E-tron GT is pretty aggressive between the money factor, residuals and rebates/credits

I know, you will get the best discount but still pay more than for all the others. Also your insurance will be the highest. Right now I am tending towards the EQE sedan or SUV. There are some insane broker deals here in forum.

My two cents:

Lucid and Cadillac Lyric should be part of the conversation. Q8 Etron is way older than everything else in the segment so it needs to trade at a massive discount to EQE. As long as it does not, it should be a hard pass.

“Luxury” implies a discerning buyer so test them out and decide for yourself. Don’t take a subjectively or objectively inferior product to save a few bucks.

Check out insurance costs too for each vehicle… that may sway your opinion.

I think the Genesis EVs had some good deals, especially on 13 months or so. Those are some nice vehicles. But, no idea if the deals are still good.

This is what I did and it seem the higher MSRP cars like the EQS go completely out of control with the insurance premium.

Yup… I have a ‘22 Tesla MYP and the insurance premium is almost exactly the same as for a brand new MB G550, with similar coverage. Go figure… :joy:

how much are you guys talking in terms of premium to what youd pay for something like $60K-70K instead? I currently pay around $400 in a month in CA for an F Pace, it can keep going up from here?! :joy:

Can someone recommend a good broker for these cars in SoCal?

I would recommend one of the last 2023 eqs suv leases. I should have one posted! :rocket: #1 Mercedes Benz Lease Deals CA ~ EZ Auto Group
