What does it take to qualify as a Bay Area resident for Chevy?

First post but I’ve been following the posts on the Chevy Bolt.

I think I live outside the bounds for GM’s bay area discount but I have an address that I could use to register the vehicle that would definitely qualify. Would that be enough or would I need to have my credit and driver’s license at the same address?

I think i read somewhere that the $1400 Bay discount is out…maybe someone can verify.
