Thankfully not, utterly unappetizing though they’re harmless… or are they?
Potato leek soup, topped with slow-cooked pork and a splash of cream.
Base for the soup is the cooking liquid from the pork (mostly de-fatted), with some purchased chicken broth for added volume.

Combos may be random.
Lunch today:
- Pan-seared / oven-roasted pork chop seasoned with black pepper and fire salt
- Frozen broccoli (no idea when or why I bought this) zapped in the microwave, topped with a couple of shreds of grated extra sharp cheddar
- Waffle fries in the air fryer.

My version of quick deconstructed sushi.
Tuna steak, pickled ginger rice, Parmesan crusted asparagus (cooked with leftover bacon grease I keep in the fridge) & sweet chili sauce
Leftover broccoli made it into a Soup (Grass-fed beef bone broth), Capicola Sandwich, Sour Cherry Juice
Inquiring minds want to know, what kind of mustard?
Eww.
Never on a sandwich.
Ever.
