Wells Fargo Cuts Off Processing Auto Loans from 1100 Car Dealers

For my own curiosity, does WF tend to have any dealer relationships that are prominent within the leasing world, or is this likely to affect traditional buyers only?

How community spirited of them. Maybe the independent dealers weren’t sending customers they could open a half-dozen other accounts for??

I’ve never heard of Wells Fargo originating a car lease, but glad to be wrong if someone knows differently. They are usually a non-captive lender, and on some smaller/used car dealerships they provide floorplan.
