for those considering Wear & Tear insurance ,we just had a pre turn in inspection on a 2015 Hyundai Azera and the results
were $1240.00 in additional charges for above normal wear and tear and this was for a garaged , well kept car .Lucky
we paid the $900 for the policy in the beginning

on a 12k/36 months lease? did u pay for the $900 up front, or broke down into per month

Did you get a courtesy pre inspection? If so did it match the $1240? What was the $1240 for?

yes I am curious to what the $1240 was for as well if the car was well kept as stated…

paid upfront and it was on a 12/36 lease
this was a courtesy inspection , break down as follows

Based on your inspection report, I guess you and I have very different definitions of “well kept”

maybe so , just glad we took out the wear & tear policy

Photos of the charged areas would be helpful. Thanks for sharing the details.

Yea, that isn’t a “well kept car”.

Thanks for posting the photos. I don’t even see the scratch on the third photo, maybe due to the reflection.

photos #2 and 4 look pretty bad. DId you shut the garage door on the rear bumper in pic 4?

curb rash looks pretty bad as well so not surprised you got the charges. But it was good that you had wear and tear insurance although it only saved you a few hundred bucks.
