Those cars definitely went swimming.

You have a million dollar car you are telling me you aren’t going to try to make sure it’s safe for a hurricane?

Insurance will pay market value. He can’t lose, I guess.

I don’t blame him
Especially if he bought before they shot up

How about nuking hurricanes considering we have an alliance with north korea

The best, and most beautiful alliance. It’s perfect: No one could do it better.

Confirmed. Alliance withstood the extremely rigorous testing with 8 mice. They remained allied.

I’m sure that the guy has a guaranteed value policy on the car.

For mega-expensive stuff, it gets harder to total. Mr Bean’s F1 was split nearly in half, yet they’ve repaired it fully at Woking. I’m sure something like a P1 will get similar treatment if need be.

Omg that car is cut in half
Carbon fiber exterior loading (it’s an option)

Congrats to the 3 people that understood this…

I dunno, it’s a lot harder to total a 20 million dollar car versus a 1.5 million dollar one. I wonder if that’s really what determines it.

When it crashed the second time it was in 7 digit territory, like the P1 is today. I’d need to check exact values, but I optimistically think it’ll happen.

Tbh the ‘cheapest’ p1s today clock in around 1.3 globally, but I hope it might be enough to justify the repair of this one.

Edit: earliest transaction I could confirm was a 2013 sale at auction for the f1 at 8.5 million.

Atkinson crashed his twice in ‘11 and in ‘99, so maybe, just maybe this P1 will get restored.

Hybrid powertrain is a curveball here IMO. Not like the purely mechanical F1 days. Interested to see the outcome.
