Just need one to pop up at CarMax. 5yr/125k mile bumper-to-bumper for $5k will do the trick

This is kinda fishy. Cause on his Instagram he shows a story with the far practically under water INSIDE the garage. What did he push it outside? The garage door was closed. Never he updated it with it crashing through the garage door.

I doubt garage doors break that easily. Might have “accidentally” hit that open button?

Depending on what kind of reinforcement they have, they certainly can.

I think people often underestimate the power of water…whether it be a rogue wave, or a stagnant pool. The weight of the water alone (if we’re talking about significant accumulation) can absolutely plow through even a well built garage door.

Also, Ik you’re in FL somewhere - how is everything holding up?

Wasnt too bad here. Im on the east coast, so even though the eye went right overhead, it had calmed down a good bit. We lost power for a while and had some minor damage, but nothing significant. Im sure there are some folks on here that had a much rougher time.

8lb per gallon.

Just think, a 20,000 gallon pool is holding 80 tons of water.

Would you argue that the improved building codes in Florida helped prevent a lot of damage in certain places?

I know there have been some major building code changes due to previous big hurricanes, but i dont know how much that was a factor in my specific situation vs just getting lucky with intensity when it got here.
