One could say they have an Armada of Armada’s. HAH!
Glad to see you’re still lurking around here ![]()
At that point I’d probably just find something on turo unless you just had hertz points to burn off.
I still got the Tahoe, which was $700 for 8 full (Sat morning to Sat eve) days through Alamo but booked on CostcoTravel.
I don’t think Turo has anything like that.
Hmm that’s not bad. How beat up is the rig at 45K?
Actually, much better than expected. Not brand new, but just a slightly used feel.
Must be mostly highway miles then!
You have people that understand market rate. And those that refuse to pay markups so they go to CDJR. A lot of people do just roll equity and still wind up with a decent deal.
People in the northeast pay the markup bc mine are thousands less then most dealers in that area. Many are 5-10k over on hybrids where I’m 1-3.
That’s not bad at all. I got a killer deal renting an expedition through Costco travel in Ft Meyers, FL back in November.
We went to Disney/Universal back in July and I was getting crazy quotes for anything that would seat 6. I decided to Uber & Lyft everywhere. I think I came out ahead (in the transportation department anyway).
Tangentially related.
only last decade is relevant here, isn’t it?
More like the last 4 years
Like any population, used car numbers are depleted by death and replenished by birth (new cars which eventually become used cars).
There were some 10-15 million fewer new cars sold in the years following the financial crisis. This lack of replenishment pushed up used car values. And that uptick in values persisted.
That’s the most relevant takeaway from this chart today.
Been seeing lots of the higher end SUVs sitting on CarGurus 60 days and over and prices starting to drop. Still ridiculously high
If you hate slow-mode, don’t go off on while tangents.
Pardon me mr moderator. How is this article relevant?
We won’t ever see pre covid pricing in at least 2 years at this rate
Read the whole article bruh.
