Warranty expiration before lease end

Just wondering of the best options if my Audi factory warranty expires before the end of my lease. I’ll likely be passing the 50,000 mile warranty coverage.
Thanks

Hope and pray.

In all seriousness, while there is a risk, it’s no guarantee that anything will break before you turn it in as soon as the warranty expires. That said, I hope you’re not going to go much higher than 50k. Just take care of it and don’t beat on it.

How far past the warranty end are you likely to go? How many months left and how many miles now on the car? If you’re going to roll 500 miles over, meh. If you’re likely going to be 5,000 over, that’s considerably more risk.

Is this a 3/36 lease? 3/45? How much longer do you have in your lease.

I would roll the dice unless you have more than six months remaining. It sounds like mileage overages might be a concern that could change the calculus a little. They normally aren’t a big deal but at the margin it might lead one to make a different decision.

My BMW warranty had the loaner mileage added on… expired at something like 40,xxx written into the contract.

BMW warranty is 50k miles anyways

I may be going about 15K miles over. Not sure, of course.

Having had Audi’s for a long time and taken several from new to 100k miles, I wouldn’t be that worried. I am more concerned that you are putting that many miles on a lease. I would think you are getting raked over the coals on payments.

Maintenance and warranty are 2 vastly different things. Your link is for maintenance. @max_g is talking about the bumper to bumper warranty.

“Warranty” is also what you discussed when he replied to you in the post you’re referencing
