I’m new to this site and unsure how to really use the calculator. I received the below lease quote for a 2024 Wagoneer S Launch Edition (Black):
Looks like a bad deal to me. A quick glance at ratefindr shows there’s at least $19,300(including Jeep TDM) in incentives on this vehicle, more depending on what you qualify for. So not only are you not getting a discount, they’re selling you an unnecessary maintenance plan and not giving you all the incentives.
Interesting. I’ve called a bunch of dealerships and this is was the lowest (by over $100 per month). I hate car shopping… In cases like this, do you just forward over the output from ratefindr and present to the dealer?
Make your own offer based off what incentives you qualify for and discount off of MSRP. People have been getting these for half of what you have been quoted.
It’s the golden age of cheap EV leases. This is Mercedes EQ, Audi Q6 and Acura Type S money.
Why spend that on a Jeep, especially one that’s been called a half baked EV in every review?
And if you’re an inexplicable CJDR diehard: A Daytona Charger is a $200 car or less.
As others have said, if you can do $625/month, you’re in luxury EV territory. It’s going to be an uphill battle with a CJDR dealer on a lease. Are you married to this vehicle? Are you married to an EV? There are better options if $625/month is your budget.
Practice using the below to put your numbers in…and then use target discount, base MF, etc to put together a target deal for the term/DAS you want.
No, not married to the Wagoneer or EV. Need a midsize SUV. What are the better options in your opinion?
Go through the marketplace to get an idea of what brokers can discount. At nearly $700 you’re almost at BMW iX territory. Hyundai Ioniq5 if it’s large enough for you, should come in FAR cheaper. Check the programs on the Nissan Ariya as they sometimes can also be very attractive.
Keep in mind that programs just changed for May, so you want to make sure you’re looking at the latest/greatest.
As an owner of the launch edition avoid this car.
i got it for 500 a month 0 down 12k miles a year 24 months.
it is my second month in the car it has already been serviced twice. I have applied for the lemon law as they have ahd the car for more than 30 days collectively.
Infiniti QX60 is going to lease for less than $6xx/month. There are a lot of data points in the forum to use on this one. Also, several brokers/dealers in the NE with Infiniti deals.
The QX60 is probably the best lease on a midsize SUV non ev
You’ll get the most bang for your buck with an EV, just a better chosen EV.
Lyric / ZDX can be half this with the right rebates (nothing complicated when it comes to Acura: just loyalty or a fairly broad conquest rebate).
Ioniq 5, Ariya and Mach E should all be well below your quote.
Lyric or ZDX are both super-nice. Would go ZDX just because it has CarPlay but the Lyric is fancy too.
Talk about an own goal by gm.
2025 Lyriq does have CarPlay, both wired and wireless
Say what you want but most people turned to Android Auto and CarPlay because included infotainment wasn’t good. The integrated system GM has implemented IS good, it just that people are understandably set in their ways once they find something they like.
It’s also about GM monetizing/selling your data. They already sold us out to the insurance companies.
If you don’t think Apple and/or Google are doing the exact same thing to you… I don’t like that but putting that aside it is a good system. A lot of people who have it a chance don’t miss CarPlay. Personally I like Android Auto better for some things but I think the GM/Google system is good overall.
