VW Tiguan SEL Premium R-Line $450/mo. Please advise

I’m trying to work on a SEL Premium deal for 39/10 with 7.5% sales tax. MSRP is $39,890. I can’t get them to go lower than $450/mo $0 DAS (I’d have to pay first month upfront). Is this a good deal? Dealer said employees like himself only get 11% off MSRP, so he can’t do better. MF is .00068 with 53% Residual.

Verify lease cash on edmunds, once you start loading up a tiguan they don’t lease so great. Might consider an Atlas SE or another make. MDX deals are decent and Highlander XLE seems like a good deal right now

Lease cash is $2500 but the dealer was telling me $2000.

You can see if you or spouse qualify for partner program, that’s worth another $500

We do not. Thanks though. Thoughts on $450/mo? Not good?

Also, I’m looking for a loaded 2-row suv with decent cargo space (no crossovers). Seems like the Outback leases well. Any other loaded models?

Personally I think there’s other vehicles that offer more for $450, I think a highlander for $350 is allot vehicle for the money, that’s an XLE with a $41kk-$42k sticker. And MDX’s have been posted in the $400’s. Somebody posted a 2 year highlander deal in the $400’s too

I’ll also add that I have the wife in an Tiguan SE, it’s definitely a little anemic and I wouldn’t pay over $300 for it. I didn’t have to get her any higher trim because she was coming out of a Jetta S(thought the SE was great)

Seems a bit high. What was the selling price prior to incentives? I like the Tiguan, currently trying to hack an SEL (non premium). Best I’ve got so far is $390 0 das (8% tax rolled in) on a a 34.5 MSRP. Still trying to get this down more.

Selling price before incentives is $37248 (6.67% off MSRP). Seems weak to me. I was hoping for 11% before incentives.

SCCA is a VW Partner Program Member. It’s around $85 to join and you knock $500 off the negotiated price.

Nice. It’s any negotiated price? I saw that it said $500 off invoice so if deal is below invoice they will honor $500 additional?

I ended up leasing a Forester, but both the VW dealers I was working with told me it was $500 off the negotiated price.
