VW Tiguan S FWD: Texas

I was looking for 36/10, zero down, with Tier 1 credit. Based on calculation, with acquisition fee $675, it should be ~ $269/month. For some reason, they quoted me at $393.

MF: 0.00029
RV: 58%
Tax: 6.25 % in Texas

The numbers that they quote me do not add up… any suggestions? I am trying to get to around $200 including tax per month

. Thank you!

Those quote sheets show the bare minimum, you need to know the MF/interest rate they’re using as that’s where they can hide the costs. Find the car you’ve been quoted on at cargurus.com and see if there are vehicles that have been on the lot longer within the geographical range you’re happy with. You can get double the discount you’re at with the right vehicles/dealers. Let us know what you find.

That looks like the standard Sonic sheet.

That’s going to be tough to get to that in Texas(don’t they charge tax on the whole price in TX?), you better have partner program and start shopping around at every dealer in town. Follow the advice on here and do everything over email/phone, don’t waste your time going to dealerships.

What MF/RV were you using for your calculation?

Zip Code: 77036
36/10
MF: 0.00029
RV: 58%

Here’s what I got on the calculator using those numbers: leasehackr.com/calculator?make=Volkswagen&msrp=25815&sales_price=23022&months=36&mf=.00029&dp=0&doc_fee=150&acq_fee=675&taxed_inc=0&untaxed_inc=0&rebate=0&resP=58&reg_fee=400&sales_tax=6.25&memo=&salesPriceTax_radio=true&miles=10000&msd=0

Like others have said, you need to find out the MF the dealership was offering in order to see where they are padding the deal.
