If I’d compare to my own lease I did 1,5 years ago it’s better as I got 2016 S Auto for $185 sign and drive but in CT which has now law capping fees.
On the other hand the dealership I got the car from advertises these deals Prestige CT deals
There $0 down so I think they may sneak another $1,200 in various fees which would add about $30 to the monthly payment.
But in the end of the day they were the once at the time gave me lower monthly payment than any NY state dealership in Westchester county. Even after accounts that in NY max doc fee is $89 and this dealership in CT charged something like $399.

I’m looking at Jetta as well as a back up if I don’t get my wife a RAV4 or Rogue. So far the price I have received in NoCal with a little email is for Jetta Sport $208 and Jetta SEL $250 both for 15K 36 months and with zero drive off.
I snagged a manual trans 2017 Jetta SE over labor day weekend for $159 a month on a 36/12k lease. I put $380 down to cover first months payment and some other extraneous fees. So effective net payment comes out to $165 a month.
I was able to get the same SEL trim in White Silver metallic with zero drive off, 35 payment remaining (dealer made the 1st pmt) at $227/month. Volkswagen of Union, NJ.
