Nov is supposed to be the biggest deal month for car sales, is that going to be the case this year? I need to buy something soon and keep looking at VW ID4 Pro S… dealing with a couple of dealers in socal, but finding some of them showing to have cheap deals and then hit you with “extras” afterwards. Any insight, thoughts on where to go without the run around?
It sounds like you’re looking at ads. That’s generally a waste of time.
Research what the market will support and make offers accordingly, and act immediately when you find a taker.
There are tons of recent reference deals for this model here in the forums.
On market timing:
People believe the same thing about long holiday weekends because of the spike in advertising.
You may have more leverage at EOM or EOQ (any month [nothing special about Nov] or any quarter), but that’s situational (right place, right time).
And of course there can be some great opportunities in the final month of lease support for the previous model year of a given model, but that ship has sailed for 2023s…
Thanks, I ended up getting a id4 pro s from dealer in coachella (dealt with owner), very straight up and legit without the hidden fees. paid 2000 drive off, 36mo, 480/tax in. plus gave me charger, mats and some other stuff included. was dealing with a broker at first but didn’t want to drive to LA to pick up. Happy charging/driving.
