I really wanted an Arteon in 2021 before things got really ugly but despite high discounts the RV’s were still pretty bad…
The 22 just hit their website but not the lots, at least here locally - went to the Edmunds calculator since I couldn’t find the 22’ Arteon RV/Incentive thread so gave their calculator a go which had and input of 75% RV for all trims on a 24/10k in addition to a low .00022 MF
this could be an interesting lease if numbers are true and if a small discount can be had. I still think its one of the better looking (overpriced) sedans on the market.
Anyone can confirm this number?
Blessings
Unless I’m doing something wrong, cargurus shows only 15 new Arteons nationwide, and they are all 2021’s.
Yes no 2022’s yet out there and VW may probably build them upon order considering the low demand on these vehicles. Am gonna check with local dealers.
Report back what they say, genuinely curious. I was eyeballing Arteons in 2020 when I noticed tons of them sitting on lot for hundreds of days
I dare you to lease one.
Blessings!
I feel like jumping from a hot pink Jeep to a soulless German car might make me sad
Be sure to check the box to also search the bottom of the ocean
Coral reef Blessings for your Monday
Oh yeah I forgot about that. Cant wait for Volkswagen dealers to use that as an excuse to markup their “limited inventory of highly desirable cars”.
The blessing guy does VW as well
I did a 0 DAS @ 36/12 for $579 a month on my 2021 Arteon SEL Prem R Line 4 Motion before the craziness of the market. I got something crazy like 16% off MSRP. I put my spreadsheet below.
Love the car. A similarly trimmed Audi A5 would have been almost $900 a month, and that’s with paying DMV, Acquisition, Dealer Fees and first month down upfront.
The rear legroom and trunk storage is significantly better too. Only downside is the relatively week engine. I am probably going to tune it soon though. I was debating trading this one in for a 2022 with the stronger engine and DSG transmission but highly doubt I will get anywhere near the deal I got back in 21.
75% RV is nothing to write home about for 24/10 particularly in the absence of big discounts and incentives. Don’t get your hopes up.
Bless you…you party pooper
But yeah not expecting miracles - still an improvement on 48% RV from yesteryear.
most of it was manufacturer incentives - if I recall it was between 4 to 5k alone.
Given the sub-50% RV, you probably will maintain a decent amount of equity in the car throughout the lease.
EDIT:
Blessings upon the Forum
Yep, it was $3500 lease incentives at the time, to be exact.
Sure some of them didn’t end up at the bottom of the ocean in that car carrier that went down?
Full disclosure - I didn’t keep up with the news stories on that ship; just that there were a whole bunch of VW Group cars in it
It seems this was a fluke from Edmunds and numbers are not clear yet.
Mods can you please close/delete this thread?
Sorry for the confusion !
