Volvo XC60 Will Be Way Over Mileage

Hello,
I have a leased 2022 XC60 15k/36 (loaner started with 3k miles) & I’m currently at 40k miles and lease end is December 2024. This is our only car and I expect that we’ll hit the 48k mark in about 4 months. We will need a 2nd car in about a year (to accommodate getting the 2 older children to their respective sports), but I’m wondering if it makes sense to take on a 2nd car sooner to avoid going over mileage in the XC60 almost 12 months before lease end (maybe Volvo pull ahead when there are 6 months left in the lease & if it’s offered in my area?). Also, the XC60 is a great car but we will want an XC90 within the next year.

Thank you for your advice and thoughts!

I was 6000 miles over. 25 cents a mile - $1617.
Simple math. If you can save money by getting a new car you should.

your volvo dealer can roll the charges into your new XC90. Is your payments cheap on the 60? If so, ride it to the end.

Thank you! XC60 is $674/month. Not sure if that’s good though.

674?
well…not really. See in the marketplace with an XC90 or XC90 Recharge is going for now.

Ok, I see that! So should I try to buy out my lease and sell the XC60 on Equityhackr/Vroom/Carvana?

you might not have any equity, and just trade it into volvo , see if the pull ahead is available. Call VFS

ok thank you!
