Volvo S90 Dealer Recommendation

Can anyone who has managed 10% off or more pre incentives on an S90 on West Coast please DM me their sales contact? I’m having a ton of trouble getting past 9%.

It might be too early in the month. In my negotiations, 8% was relatively easy to get, more than that was a struggle.

Where did you end up? I think I’m going to pull the trigger at 9%. I’m guessing it’s a fight to get to 10% plus.

Where are you located? Galpin volvo in LA seemed open to 10%. I have been talking to them. If you are interested I can email and cc you. Maybe I can get some goodwill from the guy by referring when I end up getting it

For what’s it’s worth, I’m looking at $325 per month with just doc fee, registration, MSDs and first month due at signing. 24/7.5k. Third car for me. Don’t need more miles. T6 with MSRP around $61k.

Tried Galpin. They told me they didn’t want to work with out of state buyer. Actually worse than that - they claimed incentives go away if not in state of sale. Level of stupidity was so great, I gave up.

That seems like a great deal. Compared to other deals lately seems good.

I ended up at 12% below MSRP on a 2018 T6 Mom before incentives on a last day of 2017 deal. My monthly was similar to yours on a 30/10 because the residuals/incentives have all changed. But it was literally a we need to make a sale deal to hit our quota.

Even though it’s only 9%, thats a really good deal historically because the residuals are higher in jan/Feb and the incentives are high on the west coast.

Exactly. I think there is another $25 a month if I grind, but it feels fair.

Also, not sure if there are any 2017s around, but there are 10k in incentives on T6 trims on the west coast, before Aplan. And the residuals aren’t bad.

There are some, but on the east Coast. I see a 2017 T6 Inscription demo (maybe just punched with low miles) at 12% off. There is also a new 2018 T6 MOM at 11% off and a 2018 T6 Inscription demo at 12%.

Where are you getting that quote from? Is it replicable?

There are a ton in the southeast and given the current poor incentive structure, they will be here for awhile. Perfect opportunity for someone who wants to pull an @Empirestate and drive cross country to get one.

I took the deal and paid deposit. Details will follow next week when I finalize. Rough structure is $324.99 with $883 due at signing plus $3250 in MSDs (this involves a $213.77 cap cost reduction to lower to cheaper MSD tier). Or I can do $335 with $662 plus $3500 in MSDs due at signing. Leaning toward the latter, but it really doesn’t make a difference. The fees are first month, tax on rebates/ccr and $88 in title fees (I’ll pay registration at DMV in my home state). Doc fee and acquisition fee (marked up to $995) are rolled in to payment. Once deal is finalized I will ask dealer to share contact info. Very good experience so far.

The problem is most Volvo dealers list prices that include rebate discounts. It’s a challenge to move them past the rebates and to a dealer contribution. I gave up the fight, but in the West with A-Plan I have little doubt that someone could get a T6 Momentum with MSRP around $59k for $275 or so. Volvo with A-Plan is the best leasing opportunity available in my opinion. I’m not saying they are the best car, but value is obvious.

Isn’t the T5 a better deal given the lower MSRP or does the increased incentives and RV even the T6 out? (I haven’t compared the RV on T5 vs T6)

Man I’d be happy with anything in the 3s. Would buy one tomorrow.

I personally didn’t consider the T5 as I wanted the extra power.

A thinly equipped T6 typically is the better deal over a more well equipped T5 AWD, especially if you can do full MSDs to mitigate some of the MF difference. Do the math on a couple of samples and see the outcomes. It seems easier to find 59K T6 AWD than a 55K T5 AWD.
