I have a 2020 XC60 with the same brake squeal. It only squeals the first 10 mins of driving. After it no issues. Maybe the pad compounds need to be warm? Idk but it’s not driving me insane nor do I really care.
Otherwise I have not had any issues with the car. Brakes were at 8mm after year 1 at 8000 miles.
When I brake hard from 60-0, I do get a slight stutter from the steering wheel. Is that normal?

My V90 does the exact same thing you described. Not a huge deal, but annoys me. I know it’s a big vehicle, but it’s not the most reassuring when braking quickly from high speeds.

My v90 loaner did this too. Hard breaking in the S60 caused flutter too, but that was normal considering the situation
