For a 2025 (not 2025.5) Volvo XC90 T8 plus and ultra (zip code 15203), I am seeing “seeing” $4500 in lease allowance on Ratefindr. I asked the Edmunds experts in their forum and they only have $2000 in lease allowance. Is this part of the mfg-to- dealer incentives that was mentioned elsewhere?
Is $4500 or $2000 correct?
Not the answer you were looking for but the only practical answer is that it doesn’t matter.
Even the best case scenario is a hideous overpayment considering its obsolescence. It’s one of the oldest platforms still being sold as “new” today (nothing wrong with that at Q4 2024 pricing). Who’s in the market for their third lease in a row of the exact same car with trivial changes at today’s prices? Almost nobody.
The 25.5s will pile up again just like the 24s did last November. Lease hacking is all about picking the right car at the right time.
Just let @aronchi handle the transaction for you.
Didn’t @trism parents get like 12 Grand Cherokees in a row?
I like how they were so lazy at DCX that the vehicle code for the grand Cherokee remained “WK” for generations of vehicles spanning almost 20 years.
