Your experience is ridiculous, shame on Volvo Financial.
I had curb rash but avoided similar issue with my XC-60 by trading it in mach-E. The dealer lost money on the trade after listing for 6 weeks.
5k was the total warranty allowed, my bill was 510$! This is the downside of loading up security deposits. They think no one will notice if they just deduct and send the check. Lexus did this too. I was lazy for a couplehundred $. This time I was determined to not let it go.
