I just open membership MAR 20th. Am I not eligible for this offer even after 30days?

Long time lurker, first time poster.
My wife’s next car will be a Volvo. She’s got 6 more months left on her '16 X3.

I’ve been a Sam’s Club member for many years, good for A-Plan. I just found out last week while chatting with rep on Volvo’s website that my employer does A-Plan too.

My wife drove XC40 a couple of weeks ago, she likes it. No A-Plan on XC40 (yeah, it’s new) or XC60 (yeah, it sells itself). She is showing interest in V90 CC due to aggressive A-Plan pricing.

We have some time to make a decision. Some conquest pull-ahead would be great.

I just confirmed sam’s club/Truecar. they only required 30 days of membership.

I wonder if you are just inactive and re-activate if that would work. I was a member years ago.

Did anyone find out… if you join someone else’s membership, do you still have to wait the 30 days?

Yes we found out. You need to wait as well but you can ask the primary member to generate a PIN for you. For example, ursus could generate a PIN for us …

Is sams club Volvo A-plan promotion an all year round thing? Unlike Costco’s version last year that was limited time… Also, is the lowest level sam’s club membership enough?

I think this is the first time that Sam’s club did this, so think it is only short term.

So let’s say… If I join my friend or causin’s Sam’s club membership, and ask him to generate pin number same day, Would that pin number work for me?

Dealer just shut my cousin down stating that his friend ( who was Sams member generating pin) has to cosign.

Yes, in 30 days, if the program is still active then.

I don’t know about the years part of it, but my membership expired last year and when I went into Sam’s last week to renew, the new effective date became April 13th (the day I paid to renew). I was able to generate a PIN right away from the Sam’s site, so maybe the payment reinstated the membership retroactively based on member number?

So to be clear you are saying if you become a new sam’s club member today. You’ll have to wait 30 days before you can use/participate in the A-Plan pricing? It seems contradictory to what IraCtsuJ is saying, granted they renewed instead of getting a new one.

If you are a new member who signs up today, 04/18/2018, you will have to wait till 05/17/2018 to generate pin. BUT the Samsclub A-plan promotion ends at the end of this month. I believe it was supposed to end on March 30th 2018, but they extended it till end of April. So if they do not extend it again, that pin will not be of use on 05/17/2018.
