VOLVO A plan 6% Discount and fee

Good Evening Hackrs.

If VOLVO allowed only 6% MSRP discount of A plan members.
Will VOLVO dealer honor $100 limited fee?
and Bank fee is consider as fee or only document and dealer prep fee?
Is there any link can support of A plan limited fee rules?

Thank you.

I can look when I get home, but a plan rules state a $100 max doc fee when using aplan pricing.

YOU ARE CORRECT!

“Volvo Dealers will be permitted to charge up to $100.00 in documentary fees, on each delivery to an eligible purchaser, under the terms of the A-Plan by Volvo program unless otherwise prohibited by state and local laws, or statutory regulations. Each Dealer is responsible for complying with their respective applicable laws or regulations.”

Thanks for the info.
NJ is always 300 or more document fee so I can save $200.

Is this 6% on top of A-Plan discounts?

Folks, if you’re getting the 6% discount plus A-Plan cash, it makes sense to try and maximize and make sure you aren’t getting hosed on fees.

If you’re aiming for 10+% off and then adding A-Plan cash, you should assume they’re going to charge you their normal doc fee and just consider it a part of getting a deeper discount.

I thought A plan cash was predicated on the 6% A plan discount?

Some other posts here recently have indicated that dealers may be allowed to go deeper than 6% right now and still give A-Plan cash. Could be regional.

While that’s what the reports were, it sounds like the policy change is being slow to be put into effect.

It’s not being slow, it comes from Volvo and not from dealers taking their time. They said May 1, so it will be May 1 unless Volvo doesn’t move the date again. Last month Volvo said April 1.

Had the sales guy I’ve been working with at one dealer officially confirm that Volvo had pushed back to May 1st today. Others I talked to had alluded to it, but wouldn’t give me a solid, definitive answer.
