Was negotiating a base Volt deal and now see that the dealer has moved $900 from the selling price discount to the rebate line. I gave them a one pay target so part of me thinks I should not care how they got to the number. But should it matter to me? If I do a one pay, I figure it shouldn’t matter
To explain further, instead of a 4300 discount off MSRP they are giving 3500. But they increased the rebate line from 8250 to 9150. Net net its the same one pay price I negotiated.
I’d try get to the sell price back down without changing the rebate. Push em and see what happens, haha. They might be hiding something
