Volt Bonus Tag Question

A dealer here in Ohio is telling me that a bonus tag is worth 1,500 on a purchase but 500 on a lease. It’s for a 2017 Volt LT. Has anyone else heard of the bonus tag value dropping on a lease? I don’t have any particular reason to doubt what I’m being told - just want to confirm.

Yes. Tags are usually different for lease and purchase.
