Virginia Tax Rate + Dealer License Tax?

Hello,
I’ve been shopping for a Mercedes - loaner lease and one of the quotes I received had a tax rate of 4.3% (Virginia tax rate is 4.15% - https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/vehicles/#sut.asp).

The response I got back from the salesperson: “4.3% VA sales taxes : include dealer license tax too.”.

Is that a normal practice?

I do not think it is normal, but we are only talking about $75 on a $50,000 vehicle, so I would not rock that boat. Find somewhere else to knock down the price.
