Vinfast VF8 lease deal 0 down 250/mo 36/10

Honest question, but based on the reviews and reputation of the company, why not just lease an Equinox EV for similar or less money?

$400/m. You can get two Equinox EV, Blazer EV or with some work Lyriq EV.

You can get EQS AMG too if you know the right people

Maybe some people aren’t aware of how hackable these cars are. They just get one quote locally which is horrible and they mistakenly conclude that VF is cheaper.

Having been watching the posts on here since buying the VF8 Plus but still can say it’s a great SUV and nothing to say about this car but it’s been joy to drive. As far as comments above none of those cars you mention if you don’t qualify for the Conquest or Amex deals would get you this price. I unfortunately didn’t qualify for the Veteran deals or Conquest or Amx card etc so if you consider that this car was the best deal in town.

Between the Prologue and ZDX conquests, almost every brand is covered. Most people here will qualify for one or the other.

I don’t think most of the Merc deals in 2024 needed any kind of conquest.

Companies like Ford give out Private Offers which are worth just as much as conquest.

So it’s still an extremely narrow use-case for VF to be the best deal for someone here.

Well, I disagree with everybody qualifying for the conquest. I don’t think so. It didn’t happen for me and Mercedes you needed the American Express deal to get a deal on that and it still wasn’t gonna be close to the monthly payment overall between the down payment and the monthly to get a Mercedes over a VinFast and the VinFast VF8 plus has so many amenities that Mercedes give but at a fraction of the price. And remember the deal I got I was able to drive 15,000 miles a year so factor that into your monthly payments on all these other cars you recommending. I did a lot of research before making this decision.

Most of the times I checked, Amex was worth only a small amount like $500 net over the universal lease cash that everyone could get.

And the barrier to entry for someone to get Amex or Sam’s Club is really low. So “I don’t have ___” sounds very disingenuous to me because it’s something anyone can get for very little cost.

So I stand by my previous comments

It’s not a matter of opinion (and I didn’t state everyone would; just that most would). Which brands are not covered by either Prologue or ZDX conquest offers? Let’s list them just to bring some clarity to how many do or don’t qualify. I’m sure you can find some obscure brand like maybe VF for example

Amex deal $500 is done…it’s now AAA deal for $500

Well again based on all the amenities and pricing and also the fact Vinfast give you a fast charger to install in your home that charges the car full in about 6 hours because charging using Electrify America or EV Go or any other outside charging sources. Home charging is going to Save you a great deal more!

Again we can go back and forth on this all day.

What are the latest numbers for the v8 199$ still a go or no might be going to look at one this week

So you got a charger installed with your VF8. So what? Color me less than impressed.

I feel like these manufacturers feel like they’re really doing us a favor with these charger installs. I’m sure the OEMs get a deal for bulk installs through Qmerit or whomever they’re using. Thanks but no thanks, the $1000 Ford gives you on the “Power Promise” in lieu of a charger installation on my Lightning lease was applied towards the deal (that I found on Leasehackr through a broker). I mean the OEMs would not offer us these deals if they couldn’t get it done cheaper than we could with hiring an electrician.

I put in my own fast charging outlet for my wife’s Mach-E, it isn’t that difficult if you follow the NEC code and general principles of working on electrical circuits. Also using the proper rated equipment like Hubbell industrial rated NEMA 14-50 plug is important, not the cheap stuff at Home Depot. Torque is a thing on these circuits so you need an inch-lbs torque wrench and torque them down to the setting on the breaker and the outlet. And for 60A breaker/48A charging you’re going to need 6/3 Romex, but you can get that at HD. 6ga THHN is also an option.

I will probably put in another L2 for my Lightning, but I’m doing fine on L1 for now with an occasional charge on my wife’s plug while she is away at work. Can’t shut the garage with the Lightning in it, so I work in the truck when this is happening.

Most people dont have the time for or would have better use of their time than spending it on installing a charger.

Especially when it comes to high powered electrical components. It’s not something most people even feel comfortable doing.

Me personally? DIY is something I believe and it’s often fun to do but most other people dont enjoy it
