Need a promo code here peeps

Did they offer $200/m, all in?

Just leaving Irvine Spectrum in CA.

According to sales person there are no 2023 city models left, which is cheapest option. So that makes this much less desirable.

Car drove fine. It’s not enjoyable but doesn’t feel like a death trap. In eco mode accelerator is quite unresponsive, but feels fine in sport.

It’s not something you’d ever choose to drive if you care about nice cars or performance, but for a great deal it felt fine to me. But, if you can’t get the $107/model, the next option (plus) is about $55 more per month and about 600 more DAS so we are talking an extra $2k over 24 months. Doesn’t feel like it’s worth the risks at that rate, even if I probably would have gone for it at 107.

Also, it’s not really a dealership. It’s in an outdoor mall and they may have four cars to test drive and you can order it and get it in about two week. Sales person was nice but clueless and he must never sell any cars. He didn’t even really try to sell me a car.

Definitely don’t buy. Fiskeritis.

Has anyone recently tried to negotiate further from the advertised deal of $199/mo with 0 down? Curious if they are desperate to get them on the road and willing to negotiate even more

Many dealers have bogus add-ons like $1500 dealer prep fee. So first task is get rid of those.

So far i got this.
I suggested to sales person to be below $199/m all in to be competitive. Let’s see.

yep. Spoke to one dealer near me and the amount of fees seemed crazy.

Unfortunately its the only dealer right now. Two others are working on getting their permission from the City. Hopefully those go through soon so there is more than one place to negotiate.

The first numbers I received for 36 months when adding in tax and fees came out to 346/month all in.

I think they’re basically DTC. My sales person hardly knew anything and didn’t even try to make the sale, but if he was going to, it seemed like he was literally just going to walk me through the website screens with him. I don’t think they’re even incentivized to sell, much less have access to a sales manager who can negotiate.
Obviously I’d still try if I was going to go this route, but it did not appear like it to me.

Quick follow up. After my sales person told me that the 2023 City Eco was unable to be leased because everywhere in CA was sold out of them, I emailed vinfast and they informed me that this is incorrect and you can in fact still get them.

lol I am wondering if CO residents would have got this vehicle for free (due to $5350 rebate)

Even I am, but seems they don’t have any stores in hot EV market

Will they make the deal even better in November?

I’m curious too… ECO and PLUS.

Does anyone know where I could find the current RV / MF for this deal (36/10k ) on the VF8? Trying to put it in the calculator and see where the bs extra fees they are adding in are.

The dealer I went to had a MF of .00001

I just leased the VinFast VF8 Plus for $330 a month 36 months 15k miles a year. And I did have to put down $2200 towards taxes and registration etc. So all in it’s $400 a month but I can say now that I have been driving it. It’s a great SUV for well made and power and handling as well. The quality on the interior is better than some Mercedes and it has features that $80k MSRP have. The car comes with Heads-up display has some nice features with the headlights automatically changing when you’re in super dark areas and when an incoming car is coming it lowers automatically as well. Heated seats for both you and passenger front and back seats and air conditioning seating as well. The tailgate open automatically if you kick you leg underneath as well. They come to you to service it as well and have loaner vehicles too if needed. They also gave me the fast charging unit I had installed for $350 in my garage too. I recommend you going checking it out. I thought I was settling but now after having it for over a month, I really like it a lot.
