Help me out people. How do I get in the door to get this rebate? I do not have any direct family in the military. Let me know! I am willing to donate to whatever veteran association etc.
Thanks in advance.

What USAA rebate? Manufacturer and how much? You can’t “donate” anywhere to get into USAA. Either serve or have family members that serve I believe.
Donate a minimum of 4 years of your life in the military and then we can talk about a trivial cash rebate on a non-essential purchase.
Oh you can’t? Ugh. Trying to get the Mercedes rebate. Are you eligible for that rebate if you get the credit card? I was reading that you can get the credit card as a normal person
The MB fleet incentive is not that big a deal. In most cases it is only $500 more than the dealer cash offered each month. You can get it by becoming a United Mileage plus premier member. If you obtain the MB platinum amex you can earn a $1000 silver star certificate which stacks with most other discounts.
So just by having the United mileage plus card?
I think the requirement is to be a United Mileage Plus Premiere member. Not sure if the credit card gets you that or you need to earn it by flying. If you search the details are listed in several of the E300 threads here.
You’re almost better off with the basic Merc Amex w/ the $500 discount. The $550 fee on the platinum for the $1k discount hardly seems worth it for the sole purpose of a lease discount.
60k amex membership rewards points for the platinum card. Can be redeemed at a penny a point through their portal or as much as 1.35 cents per point if you use the right mileage broker. That’s $600-800 once you have met the spend threshold, so that would cover annual fee. I agree, keeping the card past year 1 would not make sense unless you otherwise needed a premium travel card.
Chase Ink Business Preferred offers 80,000 points = $800 for $95 annual fee
And Chase UR points sell at 1.4cents per point so $1100 for the $95 annual fee. Unfortunately, Chase has cracked down on the churning game with their 5/24 rule and has made it a bit riskier to transfer UR points.
Don’t know about selling, but you also get 25% more on travel and can transfer 1:1 to any airline loyalty program
I’ve been selling for the last 5 or so years and the only adverse event was AA shutting down my account 2 years ago (because it is against their T&Cs and they were in crackdown mode). I don’t travel much so while the miles/points were nice, converting them to cash was a better outcome.
Thank you guys much appreciated!!!
