I have been trying for several months to trade it in but the numbers have not been favorable on trade in value vs payoff amount, so I kind of stepped back and recently started looking again. US Bank Lease end idiocy

SO I got a great quote from Vroom to buy my Durango ($25,500) but US Bank will NOT sell it to them since they are a 3rd party dealer. I called and asked what to do, and US Bank said that I can buy it, turn it in, or trade it in. I said I wanted to sell it to the dealer…how is that not trading it in? So stupid. US Bank lease return experience -- fairly awful

Hi folks, Thought I’d share my experiences with US Bank. My father leased a Volt through them in November 2013, before GM Financial existed. Biggest difference from our perspective is that, compared to a captive lender, 1) don’t expect any semblance of customer service and 2) expect to be dinged on any wear or tear.
