Can someone knowledgeable explain issues leasing with USBANK Jeep
#1 Selling to Vroom prior to lease end.
#2 Buying at of near end of lease.
#3 Games played at lease turn in.

SO I got a great quote from Vroom to buy my Durango ($25,500) but US Bank will NOT sell it to them since they are a 3rd party dealer. I called and asked what to do, and US Bank said that I can buy it, turn it in, or trade it in. I said I wanted to sell it to the dealer…how is that not trading it in? So stupid.
Unfortunately for me, with tax and “buyout fee” my total comes to $27,355.40. I am over miles, and I now know they are going to be complete dicks about everything so I am sure they will t…

Thought I’d share my experiences with US Bank. My father leased a Volt through them in November 2013, before GM Financial existed. Biggest difference from our perspective is that, compared to a captive lender, 1) don’t expect any semblance of customer service and 2) expect to be dinged on any wear or tear.
As is customary, they send AutoVIN to do a pre-return inspection. AutoVIN sends the report back to US Bank, who then determines if the wear is “normal” or “excess.” If excessive, U…
