[Urgent] Anybody willing to share GM supplier friends and family code

At the Cadillac dealership right now almost about to close the deal but turns out the my company isn’t in the supplier program. This is the only thing blocking from closing the lease.

Can someone please share a GM friends and family authorization code if possible? I’l DM with details. Will be very grateful.

The previous thread about this seems to have dried up.

We see requests like these pop up about once a week… and tbh, it doesn’t seem to go anywhere. If it does, congrats!

Edit: will give this a few hours before I combine it with the other “gm code request” thread

Also thought about combining however that thread is in Hackers lounge, which I believe is only accessible to supporters. To your point, it doesn’t seem to be fruitful.

What would be benefit for other person to do so for a stranger? And potentially they could get blacklisted somehow?

There’s nothing wrong in giving the code. There has been a separate thread similar to this where kind hackr’s have shared the code.

A guess a ‘friend’ could be an internet stranger! :grinning:

Well I don’t know if GM tries to control it, but I know I’d be in deep at home if I had given my limited use code to a stranger and my BIL or somebody wanted it.

Of course, it’s only for people who are willing to share.

AND have purchased/leased a GM product in the last 12 months

Some additional context, I did have a friend who qualified for supplier. But at the dealership, it didn’t produce an external F&F code but was able to produce for self.

Then another one who did purchase/lease a GM recently using their supplier code attempted to help me with their code here, but the portal couldn’t produce a code for them either.

Will follow up with GM on phone tomorrow. Would appreciate any additional help, have postponed pickup until then.

My niece works at Tesla, which is now a qualified supplier for GM’s Supercharger network. She can get a GM Supplier Discount code, but she can’t share it with family or friends. When she tries, she gets the error: “Auth details cannot be sent.”

When I looked online, I found this: “Each time you purchase or lease a new GM vehicle under the GM Supplier Discount Program, you can share the Supplier Discount with one friend or family member for up to one year from the date of your vehicle purchase.” The GM site confirms that after getting an authorization number, the friend or family member has 90 days to use it.

So, does she need to buy or lease a GM car first to unlock two shareable codes?

I’m in the same boat, I’ve had GM supplier access for year but never busted out my own code :champagne: so I’ve never had a F&F one to share.

That’s how it works. It says so in the fine print.

Must Use YOUR code and is given the opportunity to SHARE another code.

For those who want to know what happened, it was the GM Supplier website that wasn’t generating the F&F code with the Auth message - even for those who met the condition of using a supplier code for themselves.

Thanks to fellow hackrs who helped verify this, will post the deal details separately soon.

Must use or generate ONLY?
Just curious.

Generate means nothing if the code isn’t redeemed.
Well it means that you have 1 less code to generate (You can only generate 2 a year and they expire in 90 days)
