Signed last night. Touring 2wd

This was doable due to the April incentives, have a Hyundai to qualify for the $2000 conquest

Being in California, It was important to get the car from a CA dealer in case of a lemon

DM me for the contact

UPDATE:

Big Cluster F**k with Honda Finance and the Dealer!
Deal didn’t exists after the contract was signed, Honda has 10 days to rescind,8th day they called for an extra $1kdown. Went to the dealer which they said they will eat that $1k and will email us new contract. On 4/17/26 still no contract, called he dealer and they said its $4k DAS, $320 a month now or return the car!

Days of back and forth we ended up returning the car on 4/21/2026. The dealer tried to make it right, but Honda Finance is incompetent. 8 other Prologue customers had the same issue happen at this dealer and many others in the Socal region.

On a brighter note, @RPChevyDealer gave us the best experience and pricing on an Equinox EV. $44k MSRP, 24/12k $8232.69 One Pay.
No one can touch him with pricing, communication and closing deals

Have an Equinox EV so its very familiar. The Honda looks so much better and Apple Carplay

Congrats. I am trying to get a deal on an AWD and not having much luck on the east coast. Can you post your calculator link? This is just with the 7k honda incentive? Or does this include a CA state incentive?

dm’d for contact!

Looking to pick one up by the end of this month if you can share dealer.

Can you post your calculator. How much discount pre $7500 incentives?

I had a dealer look. He said because of the $7500 discount that they did start of month, a bunch of people got an extra $7500 off. But he said it’s not possible now. He said their dealership made the people either return the car or redo their contracts.

this is why I’m assuming he isn’t sharing dealer info

This is correct. Dealer is blaming Honda, now we are waiting for Honda Corp to respond to figure this out.

Totally mind blowing to sign a lease and return a car after.

Will update once everything is finalized

Ya, that’s what my dealership said. He said he tried looking into and confirmed this deal was 100% real. But can’t replicate it now.

What are they going to do with the 9 prologues that now got returned after being used for a few weeks?

They are still new with miles on them because it was never registered.

Dealer gets screwed though. I feel bad for them

It would only be “New” if it never left the lot

The cars must be sold in California now as “Used”

It is what the DMV calls a “Rollback”

If it doesn’t leave the lot it’s a “Cancel” which is still new.

If the dealership issued a temporary registration, and the vehicles drove off the property, they are now used cars in California!

It seems like the difference in these deals was over $6000

The dealer will still sell them, they may take a 1500 or $2000 hit on each one by the time they sell

But I guess they preferred that to the big loss on that many cars.

I’m really sad this happens to good people.

I made a new friend out of it though! I bet he calls me when he needs a car now instead of Honda! LOL
