Unsure how to pronounce Porsche? Hear it straight from the source

Still say “Porsh”, albeit incorrect.

Mainly to get all the PCA dbags twisted.

For the BMW CCA, I’d be an awful member. I use my turn signals, and would only use the membership to look at classifieds and get rebates.

Roughly since the second issue of Roundel arrived, they’ve all gone (unwrapped) directly into the bin that goes to the curb once a week.

I’m sure it’s a fine publication for its intended audience, but  .

It’s about as incorrect as pronouncing the S in Paris, or dropping the A in Roma.

More or less the same with Panorama. I just save them for coffee table art.

very yawn when compared to real car magazines

Two syllables when stand-alone, one syllable when mentioning model. eg. He drives a Porshuh, He drives a Porsh Turbo Carrerra. (but you should never listen to an Okie for pronounciation).

I’ve owned many of them.
I know the “right” way to say it.
I know the founder’s name.
I know all of it.

And yet I refuse to say Por-SHA. It sounds very D-baggy and I cringe when I hear people say it.

Sorry, not sorry.

Porsche is how you say it.

But you pronounce the “e” as an “a”. My tool to remember is that is what a stripper would call herself if it was her stage name.

“Porti-a” as a name from the clip above.
