Hi folks, I’m looking for a Blazer EV deal now and one dealer told me Blazer EV cannot be lease now because there is a recall for it called
N242468490-Service Update Bulletins-Missing Chassis Harness Plugs - Exp. W/Base Warranty
One thing I don’t understand is that it’s not found in NHTSA search, and I checked with a few other chevy dealers whose responses were “we don’t see such news”. Is there anyone who has an idea if it’s true or not?
Funny you posted this. I just dropped my Blazer EV off at the dealership this morning and he mentioned this Recall (which they are taking care of). It was not on the list for my car this past Friday (because he looked up any outstanding recalls at the time). So, this one is hot off the presses.

Do you know what is the issue about in detail? Is it a severe one as you expect or just quick inspection & part update could resolve?
It’s before my signing the lease agreement so I wanna make sure the new car doesn’t go wrong when I pick up (although the car was sitting in the lot for a year)
Wonder if this will affect any of the other ultium platform cars, especially the prologue?
That sounds like GM identified an issue and did a Stop Sale. It could just be a GM Service Bulletin that hasn’t risen to recall status (yet).
so it’s an internal stuff so that I cannot search for it?
Does it happen to outdated models too? (24 blazer ev)
TSBs aren’t always public information, it could just be an internal thing for them to check at service, or stop-sale cars that might be affected.

There is a post about the one you mentioned that claims it only affects specific vehicles
