Subvented rates are subsidized rates, which means the lender is subsidizing the lease program to incentivize you to lease the car:
Not all car models come with a subvented lease program. When there is no subvented lease program available, Rate Findr would show the standard lease program. “Special Rate” is just another name for the subvented lease program.
Not sure what you mean by “Does it affect the rate finder numbers on its own?”
For some of the lease programs, I see Special Rates categorized as “Subvented Lease” but it looks like it’s just informational (BMW for instance for 23 EV’s). As far as the rate finder is concerned, does that just mean it exists? Or am I missing something on there that adds it to the calculation?
I kidnapped @anon65069371 and he sent me the autocompanion calculator which lists the different programs and that helped, it looks like we’re already applying the applicable rate. So we’re already doing the work in the finder, perfecto!
