Turo - fees, taxes etc

Hi Leasehackrs, looking for feedback from people who have rented a car from Turo? When I see a car advertised for $30/day, and a 10-15% discount for the week, does that rate you see $30/day or $178.50/wk include all taxes and fees, or is there still fees and other items tacked on before booking? I’ve looked around but can’t find that answer. It looks like Turo will offer some insurance options above the Liability that is included, but if I’m good using my own insurance, are there additional fees I shouls expect?

I’ve never used Turo before, and trying to understand what my total cost will be for a given car/area. TIA

Turo will charge you a trip fee (10%) and any additional insurance if you choose it.

Like Jon said, 10% on the posted price + extra insurance.

Some users will “offline” a deal for you too. I rented a McLaren in LA for a day and found the user via Turo, but since I was 29 (not the required 30) he allowed me to rent outside of Turo.

OK, so the $30/day I’m seeing in Ft. Lauderdale FL will really come out to $33/day if I don’t take any additional insurance. Which is still better than all the rental car companies, and the airport taxes for them are all insane!

Thx Jon and Nick
