I nominate the bear @Ursus for continued service
But why? You should know better lol
Let’s not get too tangential here or it’ll get hard to filter through and see the actual nominations!
Remember that trusted hackrs get access to our sweet lounge of secrets that doesn’t exist (or does it?) and more community love than you could ever imagine.
I nominate @GOAT for a lifetime term
You are welcome.
Stop sucking up to him bro. He’s not going to get you a 911 bro. /s
I still nominate @holeydonut whether he likes it or not. He rocks and has made solid contributions!
@holeydonut is it
@mllcb42 and @delta737h
Both stand out in their own way to better inform this great community. One on the art of negotiation (and anything “Jeep”), and the other on mathematics.
Between the two of them I’ve learned a lot and am grateful for their time and contribution.
With all due respect to delta, he’s trusted for his unmatched math skills, but he’s not a moderator. But since “trusted” doesn’t necessarily mean “moderator” for V&M, then why trusted members need a badge that includes moderation rights? And just like that, I’m back to separating “trusted” and “moderator” lol
Can there also be a least trusted hackr nomination?
@delta737h fits the mold as described.
And I do not agree with this description because it does not include anything about moderation that trusteds are supposedly required to perform.
…which is worth more than just being able to move posts to the landfill. I mean let’s get real, there are how many “trusteds” on here? Probably more than a dozen, but only a handful are actually worthy of that role in my view. I couldn’t even name more than 3 or 4 of them.
No one here will ever agree on who’s worthy to be “trusted” (and moderate), and who’s not. My opinion is just as good as yours, but I agree that 20 or so “trusteds” make sense only if they are as described above and do not moderate.
First LH lifer? Wait, is that good or bad???
How about some kind of trusted broker designation for the ones that do a lot more than just advertising? Looking at @ZZAutoDeals, @IAC, @IAC_Scott. I’m sure there are more on the East Coast that constantly share their knowledge. No admin privileges, of course, just a badge. Thoughts?
“Trusted Broker”, “Broker”, and “Moderator” should be the designated titles. I definitely trust some brokers for their knowledge and information more than those who strictly moderate content.
