Carmax called to get your payoff when they cut you thr check, right? If so, shouldn’t be any issues since they are buying it - no lease turn in issues, etc. When unsold my s90 to Carmax, all went as expected.

Yes, CarMax called GM after they agreed on 23k appraisal. And the CarMax person said you actually have $20 positive equity.

I turned in my Honda CRV 2016 at carmax today. Financed it for 29188 put in 21000 Miles and couple of scratches. Car max appraised it at 21000, got 3100 cheque after payoff. Honda’s do hold more value.
