Transfer an Audi Lease

, ,

In the market for a new car, current car I’m looking at is not leasing we’ll at the moment but I would need to get into a new car before the end of the month. Does anyone know if Audi is allowing full transfers now? I thought I saw somewhere that they started allowing full transfers. Would be ideal for me to essentially get a very short term lease.
Thanks

AFS will allow transfer, but does not allow original leassee be released from liability. #DontDoIt

As many others have advised here- get real offers from all the car buying services ( http://shift.com/r/wq5z5

Vroom, Carvana, Edmunds, CarMax, KBB Insta, etc.)

Have them get non-branded dealership payoff (aka “fair market value”) from AFS and see if it makes sense to go forward.

Nothing has changed on Audi leases, you will still be liable even if you transfer it. Not worth it at all. Sell it to vroom/carvana/dealer.

If you’re getting into an Audi lease, you don’t have to worry about the joint liability.

But there’s not enough time to process an AFS transfer before month end.

@the5rivers yeah don’t forget their wonderful market value payoff for third party.
