The MSDs do not lower the effective payment, unless you are giving them to the transferree as an incentive, which doesn’t appear to be the case.

Thank you for the feedback, Jon. This is my first lease transfer and I will take all the feedback I can get. I updated the post to hopefully avoid confusion.

To clarify: the buyer would reimburse me the $4,550 in MSDs at transfer, and BMW FS should refund those MSDs directly to the buyer at lease end. So they are refundable deposits / cash required at transfer, not a down payment or incentive.

Added $1000 incentive.

I might be interested, I’m in Puyallup so very close. Does it have ventilated seats?

It has Perforated SensaTec with heated seats, but no ventilated seats. From memory that option is only available on leather seats and I didn’t want that.
