Can anyone shed some light on TFS lease transfers? I have read online varying amounts of time it takes (anywhere from a few weeks to 3 months). If you have done a TFS transfer, how long did it take you? We just submitted the initial credit check and there was not much info given by the phone rep nor the paperwork on what exactly comes next and when. To my understanding, I will get one more round of paperwork and then the transfer will be complete. But that seems a tad confusing because the transferee has not even paid their fee yet, so will there be one more round of paperwork and then an official release of liabilities? Is that the point at which the car would be handed off I assume?
