Toyota Mirai - Owners' reviews wanted

Seen couple of complaints and reviews in 2017 and 2018 from Toyota Mirai’s owners:

  1. Fuel shortage: Is it still the case now? Have you experience any fuel shortage at the stations in 2019?
  2. Radiator protection design flaws: Rocks or road debris hit the radiators and cause coolant leakage due to air flow mechanism design flaws. This is NOT cover under warranty! Is it re-designed or improved on 2019 models?

Please share your experience.

Shortage was like a year ago. Not terrible now but some stations are busy.

The radiator was my customer. Any car could catch a rock it’s ultra rare. Of course it won’t be cover under warranty just like a rock hitting the windshield. “Acts of God” are not covered by warranty.

Customer paid like $1400 for repair and toyota was nice enough to cover the rest. It’s the only time I’ve heard anyone having this issue

My biggest complaint is I thought I bought an m235i but realized I bought a Mirai. WTH!

They don’t look anything alike in real life…

And unlike the first-generation Murai, you’ll never quite find your prostate with the 235.
