Has anyone had experience with a toyota lease transfer and know what needs to be done? I have called TFS but am not sure of the process still. One person said I send a picture of the buyers credit score to toyota, and have the person go to the DMV and fill out a title transfer (paying the dmv $200). Another person told me that I would have them submit credit to TFS and pay toyota the $200, having them request sales and use tax form from the DMV. Also how would it work since I had paid the entire lease when I got the car? Thank you
Last I checked you ask for a lease transfer application which includes a credit app for the new lessee. They fill it and if they get approved then the DMV paperwork is sent out
any money that you want has to come from the new lessee, Toyota doesn’t owe you anything
