Am I the only one who thinks Toyota has hard seats?
I had to drive a 2019 Camry for 3 hours on the highway and my back ached
Are you in your 70s? Is your comparison daily driver a Bentley?
If you are asking if an economy car has bad seats relative to a luxury car, then the answer is yes.
It’s a toyota, so it’s the automotive equivalent of tupperware. So yes
Only Toyota with comfortable seats IMO was the Avalon, loved it even compared to German brands. Honda seats feel even worse. Nissan’s zero gravity seats are pretty damn good. End of the day, it comes down to personal preference so YMMV.
5-year old car… how many miles? Yeah, bad seats and lots of farts.
It only has 23K miles
Camry has terrible seats. I bought 10 years ago my first Camry and I regretted it after few days. Ended up giving it to my sister who was going to college and I leased an Infiniti Q50 which has one of the best seats. I was more or less lucky after that with most of my cars until recently I leased a Honda CRV hybrid and made the same damn mistake: I thought 2 minute test drive is enough to judge about car seats. Now my back hurts like crazy and I am stuck with this car To be honest, the CRV Hybrid is overall an outstanding car but seats are as bad as the Camry seats.
We had a Camry rental a few yrs ago for a road trip. Seats were quite unpleasant initially, but they weren’t any more uncomfortable for me after a few hrs than were in the first few mins. So that’s something, I guess.
We have owned/leased dozens of vehicles in our family spanning most makes, and the seats in our 2024 TRD Pro 4Runner are literally some of the most comfortable seats we have ever had in a car, SUV or truck.
Camry seats is ok. Drive like a boat, sit like one too. IMHO, the worst seat is tesla Y, regardless how many adjustment I made, I can’t make that seat comfortable.
