Too good of a deal to pass up? Lease 2025 Hummer EV SUV

I’ve been wanting to get the HEV SUV for quite some time now and had my heart set on the 3X, but came across a 2X with Extreme Off-Road Package, and Illumination Package in Void Black where my local CO dealer was offering a solid deal. Still hesitant against settling for the 2X so I shot my shot and threw a monthly payment number at them of $750 which they agreed to with my making the first months payment at signing. The 3X wasn’t as well optioned and the best they would do on it was $920 per month.

I’d be stupid to pass this up, right?

Wondering if there is a 12k tax credit here if it’s over 10k lbs gvwr

Colorado has insane EV rebates

Unfortunately this one is just under 10k GVWR so it only qualified for $3500.

The rebates broke down as follows:

3500 Colorado EV credit
2750 GMF Dividend
1250 Costco

Bummer. Wonder if there’s anything the dealer can sell with the thing to bump the gvwr. Probably not how it works.

I think it’s by manufacturer reported weight

Yeah, You’d be nuts not to jump on that. Payments like that in other states would require a significantly higher cost to start. Gonna need some pics!

Exactly…I tried but was told they have to go off of the GVWR in their invoice. Will still see if my CPA can figure out a way to make it work come tax time next year.

I saw online that the SUV is 10,550 but not what the invoice shows, so I’m sure the info I saw isn’t accurate.

I guess I’m curious on how they vary in weight besides larger battery. Was hoping that the Extreme Off-Road Package would help increase the GVWR.

Pretty sure the intent was just to have extra incentive for Amazon to convert to rivian vans because I can’t find anything else that qualifies.

The Sierra 1500 EV qualifies for the $12k EV credit per the dealer

What about the $7.5k EV Rebate? GM doesn’t like to pass them on to consumers?

My understanding is that it does not qualify because the EV is over $80k but please correct me if I’m wrong.

GM adjusts the RV by 7500, their way of baking it in.

Go for it! My friend just got a Hummer ev, loves it.

When leasing, it doesn’t matter what is the MSRP. The limits only apply when purchasing.

Got it! Since that was not part of the rebates from the dealer, does that mean I can apply for the credit directly when filing taxes? Sorry for all the questions, this is my first EV so it’s all new to me.

Is this a loaner? If yes how many miles.

Also what’s this:

The dealer said it was an Event Vehicle.

“We bought a few show cars from GM. The events are held for training… some of them get driven … we got lucky with a few that had less than 300 miles”

This one has 125 miles and that’s the main reason they said they can be more aggressive with pricing versus the 3X I was initially after.

No idea on the $2750 GMF Dividend, that was how they broke down the $7500 in total rebates.

No, since it’s a lease, manufacturer gets it, and can pass it on to you via rebate, or in the case of Hummer EV, bake it into the RV reduction
