Hello
I just leased a 2018 Jaguar F pace 33 months/12K for 768$ per month . Dealer insisted on taking tire and wheel warranty came around 1720$ for the lease.
Does anyone have experience with http://www.nationaladjust.com/ ? It seems like a OK company not sure if its worth the money. I still have 2 weeks to cancel it and get full refund. Let me know please.
Have you ever damaged wheels/tires in the past? They insist on you taking it because they make money on it.
I didnt. but checking if these vendors that provide third party warranty are a rip off or they evne worth it.
Personally it is not worth it for me, I park careful and dont put any curb rash on my wheels. If I ever damage my wheel my insurance company will take care of me, or I can fix it, buy a used one etc. the tire is subjective, it is a wear and tear part, if you ever damageed the tire they would only pay you the pro-rate so you still have to pay out of pocket the difference.
Insist? I’ve leased well over 15 cars in my life, and never had I had to add any of the extra warranties as a condition of sale.
However, if the dealer were to make me a sweatheart deal if I added them, then I certainly would do so. I’d consider cancelling post sale as well.
Basically, EVERTHING the finance manager offers is a huge profit item for the dealership. Having said that, if you are the kind of driver that bangs up their car or destroys tires/rims, then the tire package or excess wear and tear pay for themselves.
Thanks all. I am a safe driver, will cancel the extra warranty , that will help bring down my payments to 700$…
appreciate your help
Sounds like a scam. What was the msrp on the car?
Its 57K for a prestige model with drivers and comfort and conv package and 20" wheels. 2018 model
And return your car as well, while you at it.
what do you mean ? please explain
He’s saying you are paying $700/mo for a $57k car. Just out of curiosity, how much was your total drive off?
Just what @adlerjoshm said.
understood. I am a newbie and dint do my research well. Lesson learned i paid bit more and trying to help others and learn the leasing gig so i dont repeat this stupid mistake , LOL. Thanks for the concern.
Someone here was able to return his lease within 3 days a couple of days ago. Not sure if are still in that window
Hmm, i am past that and seems Illinois may not have that grace period or Jaguar finance group doesnt have that option.
I dont regret the car but kindaa regret the deal. no worries, will make up that loss in no time since i use this for business so no problem writing off some of the costs for lease.
Good for you then, enjoy the car.
If you love the car, and it’s a done deal anyways, ignore everyone here and enjoy the car.
thanks all. learnt a lot from you guys
What was the original msrp? Was it 57k after discount?
