Unless the manager himself drives the new WRX, LOL @ everyone wants a WRX.
I know, lol. There were other gems through in there…“The market is very hot right now. People are buying. We’ll discount more for locals so that we capture their service business, blah blah blah”.
I have a lead on another PA dealer more willing to play ball. I’ll let LH forum know if anything comes of it. Problem is the clock is running out on inventory for us - less 2022 choices as much as it is running out on dealers for 2023s coming in.
Right now even the socal dealers are not willing to deal as they have time to sell the car. 4K is the std here now across 4-5 dealers in socal.
Seems like no STI for 2023 too. Gonna wait, i hope no electric
Yup, sales guy said I was being unrealistic asking for more than 4k. His tone changed and he basically blew me off. ( socal dealer) it was even a limited trim*
Just wait until 3/31…. I am sure his tone will change.
Which dealer is giving over $4K off on premiums around orange county?
A few in my area were advertising $4K off along with $299/mo lease in Feb, but not so far in March…
When you can’t compete with others, you call them unrealistic, haha. If another dealership was doing $5.3k off to the public, how was your offer unrealistic? You weren’t asking for 10k off, were you?
Glendale, Ontario, San Bernardino, Thousand Oaks, Sherman oaks, Long Beach.
All give $4k discount
Only Sherman Oaks wanted to play ball when I bought mine. Everybody else was $2-2.5k
seems like they dropped out now.
It was a month to push for marketing success.
WRX posted an 8,280.7 percent increase in February
They kinda forgot to mention most of the MY22’ WRX arrived stateside on January 2023.
They will build a Wilderness WRX before sti. Has the black cladding already.
You guys are just haters. My salesperson today was right. “Everyone wants a WRX!”.
8300% increase y/y makes the 2022 WRX the most desired and successful vehicle of all time.
On a serious note, someone mentioned that the YTers are pushing these cars all of a sudden. I noticed that too on my feed. A lot of recent videos on a 1yr old model. All these tricks, when they could just throw some trunk money on them to clear the way for the 23s. Pretty sure they will curtail 23 production to not have to discount at all going forward.
should of told him at msrp no one panics because its all part of the plan
discount it 5k and everyone loses their minds
I may bite in Nor/So Cal at $4,500 off sticker on a base. I currently lease a Frontier and GC 4xe and plan to keep three vehicles for at least 12 months.
What are you guys expecting to be able to sell/trade a base WRX for in 12 months? I am estimating a $27.5k net cap with zero DAS, I would be happy if I got $26k on trade in a year with 5k~ miles on it. Is that realistic?
