Tips to obtain a SUBARU under MSRP

what trim?

Base, I think that one would make the most sense. At least for me lol

C’est moi. I sent a calculator to @drdvrgs - $297+ tax IIRC before the latest discount

I remember looking at these WRX’s in person over year ago when they first came out.

Might waste some time today and stop off at my local dealer just for kicks and giggles . I’m sure if I mention I want $5k off sticker, they’ll prob tell me to get lost , but maybe I’ll take one out for a test ride and rip one for alittle .

Wasn’t @rubbergash pimpin’ these before? Where did that dude go? Maybe his dealer can also do $5k off.

If subaru dropped a v8 in this i’d dump my LT1 for it. Till then….

My turbo lag gives your v8 hope

Is it time to hit them with “ can y’all also do one-pay plus msd’s” ? :joy:

Favorite this if you’re interested in replicating @drdvrgs but from a dealer on the other side of the Mississippi.

Might go hunting today for fun if enough people care

I can go 100% pure for hackers. $3255 off a base WRX on a lease for all hackers. Come and Get it!

That’s invoice minus holdback minus my $200 Subaru Flat on a lease. A pure $0 deal for me.

Who wants one?

You must reside in California to qualify.

I’m not going to lie, in NJ I would be happy with 3k net off after doc fee gouging.

Took one out today, good torque but honestly these are nothing to write home about . Gave them the usual simp response “i nEeD tO tAlK iT oVeR wItH mY wiFe” . Discount of only $1500 off.

Unless presented with unicorn like numbers it’s gonna be a no from me dawg.

Hard to find utility value if you don’t plan on doing any fun driving activities.
Canyon drives are just right for it… brakes need to be upgraded if you want any track days.

Don’t expect any refinement on it. The engine noise doesn’t even quiet down until you throw some Ceratec in it.

For $400 sign and drive on a premium/limited, I’d do it. Heard the steering feel is non existent. True?

This is true.

To drop off @Littletuna at school perfect car

Did the salesperson come along or were you able to bang out some good 0-60 runs, dropping the clutch at 5k.

He came along. Still did some good pulls , didn’t care honestly.

This was a Premium. I thought the seats had good bolstering .
