Time sensitive newbie question : how do i ask the dealer to give me the rate in rate findr?

A quick newbie question

  • how do i ask the dealer to give me the rate in rate findr?
i want one of the rates associated with the car manufacturer so i assume it will be available and yes i assume i will need to negotiate the price separately.

If you asked for a deal check, circle back after you have signed a deal – the community always loves to hear back! Submit your deal to SIGNED! (https://share.leasehackr.com).

Tell them you’re an informed and well-researched buyer and tell them the rate that you know.

You don’t.

Get out of the weeds and craft the deal you want.

Then, share the outcome you’re looking to achieve. How they get there doesn’t matter

This is the answer. They don’t need to get all of the variables that build the offer to be the same as yours (MF rate, discount, incentives, etc.). You just need to build a realistic deal based on the data you know from RateFinder and deals posted here, and then ask for that deal from all the dealers (e.g. $0 due at signing and $XXX/month for 30 months at 12k miles/year).

As @Bostoncarconcierge says: how they build it on their end doesn’t matter, as long as the cost is what you want.

What rate, the MF? You don’t need buyrate MF.

+100 to what the others said.

Do you have a target deal? Have you picked a hackable car? Those are much more important questions.

And there was no need to make two new threads for a question you already asked and was answered

right there ^^

Big +1. On my i5 deal the money factor came up exactly zero times. I was playing with the calculator on my side each time they came back and I could back into it. But ultimately how they choose to show their P&L on the deal is on them.

my bad i got the impression that my first post did not post and that i must have made a mistake

Edit : Ooops never mind. I think my first post really did not post. You are referring to something different. I did ask the same question in the reply to a different post. Yes I did that deliberately to get a quick response. I wasn’t sure how active people are here. I won’t do that again. my bad
